I once bumped into a group of St Louis Blues players including Pronger at a bar to see a band downtown. Pronger was HUGE! I couldnt believe how big the dude was. the others looked pretty much like I expected. Cambell knocked over his beer and looked like a dork being the only person in a suit there. the chicks in the place were immediately all over them
A few are playing for the LNAH up here. Donald Brashear plays for Qu?bec City , S?bastien Caron plays for Saguenay. It's a cool league. Good hockey and about 4 or 5 fights a game

we have a local mall here where the Blues player practice. you can go and watch (when there isnt a strike). my guess is some still show to skate to keep in shape.
also, my daughters fiance has met Kelly Chase (Chaser) a couple of times where he works and never even thought to get me an autograph of my name sake!

Well, i was at the MSU/UofM hockey game last night... me and lurker boarder CyberSpawn Ultimate were walking around the concourse since the game wasn't exactly going in our favor (Michigan won 4-2, and because there were like an extra 1000 screaming fans in the stands that night it was about 90 degrees where we were sitting).
well, as i'm walking away from the concession stand with my fresh bag of skittles, i look up at a guy passing me.
i think, "man he looks familiar... and check out those scars.... holy shit! that's Chris Chelios!"
made eye contact, he gave us a nod and kept moving.
somehow i thought he'd be taller.
sweet! too bad you didn't buy a box of chicklets instead...that would have been sweet to get signed! (random hockey reference)
Bio, if you want to see a BUNCH of Red Wings head down to the Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester Hills on Thursday's at Midnight. There's a pick up league that plays there that has gained NUMEROUS NHL players since the lock out.
Chelios, McCarty, Hatcher, Ciccerelli, Draper & Legacy play every week and the faces in the stands are even better (the Capitan was there 2 weeks ago)
Dave Lewis & Joey Kocur have a restaurant about 15 miles from where I live. I haven't been there yet.
I don't have a problem with a league where goons fight goons and don't visciously hit the good players
It's better than a league where players hit each other on the head with high sticks.
